Music Ministry
Director: Larry Marion

We Methodists love to sing.  We include music from a variety of styles and traditions in our services.  We are led in worship by our volunteer Chancel Choir which sings an anthem each week, and leads us in other congregational singing.  We invite folks to join our chancel choir, with a commitment to practice on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. or Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.  The choir is robed from September through May. You do not have to be a church member to sing in our choir.

The Summer Singers is a less formal choir that sings in June, July, and August, without robes, and sings fun, familiar anthems in worship.  If you want to try choir, to see if it for you, this is a good group to join, as it does not require a time commitment.  Just join us at 10:30 on Sunday to go over that day's anthem.

When we have enough children to volunteer, we offer a children's choir in the months when school is in session.  The children's choir usually sings about once a month, with special performances in the Christmas and Easter seasons.

Handbell choirs are formed on occasion, using our church's beautiful handbells.  See Larry Marion for information as to when the next one will form.

There are opportunities for soloists, duets, instrumentalists, and all who have musical gifts they like to share in our church.  Larry Marion would like to talk to you about when you can help out.
